Bill McAnally Racing
Bill McAnally Racing was founded by former NASCAR driver Bill McAnally in 1986 with one vision - winning championships. Headquartered in Antelope, California, Bill McAnally Racing houses state of the art technology and a stable of race cars, allowing BMR to handle all aspects of race car preparation. Alumni drivers include Peyton Sellers, Brian Ickler, Eric Hardin, Steve Portenga, Austin Cameron, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers Brendan Gaughan, Jim Inglebright, and Nextel Cup Drivers Clint Bowyer and Kerry Earnhardt. The Bill McAnally Racing development program continues to find and develop drivers to compete in NASCAR's premier series, the NASCAR Nextel Cup. In 2008, BMR will field a car in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series for development driver Paul Harraka. Harraka will compete at All-American Speedway in Roseville, Calif.
FDJ Motorsports
FDJ Motorsports, headquartered in Ashland, Va., is run by team owner/driver Frank Deiny, Jr. FDJ Motorsports is dedicated to driver development, allowing Deiny to use his successful late model background to provide in-depth driver coaching to up-and-coming talent. In 2008, FDJ Motorsports will field a car in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series for Drive for Diversity development driver Michael Cherry. Golden State Racing
Golden State Racing, Inc. was formed in early 2002 by Frank Jordan and is located in northern California. GSR has made their mark as a premier late model race team, having won four titles in five years of full-time competition on the West Coast. Golden State Raicng's goal remains constant, "To put our drivers and sponsors in the Winner's Circle everywhere we race." In 2008 GSR will field three cars in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at All American Speedway in Roseville, Calif. with Drive for Diversity development driver Kristin Bumbera of Sealy, Tex., veteran driver John Moore of Granite Bay, Calif., and rookie Laura Hayes (Wilton, Calif.) coming from USAC sprint cars. GSR will also compete in the NASCAR Camping World Series West with veteran driver Eric Schmidt. Schmidt will also assist Crew Chief Eric Snyder as a driver coach and crew chief for the driver development program. High Point Racing
Founded in 1987, High Point Racing is heading into its twenty-first season in stock car racing competition. What initially began as a high school auto shop project has now developed into one of the premier short track NASCAR teams on the west coast. Team owner, Tim Huddleston was the original driver and still continues to drive to this day. In 2005, he decided to expand his single car team to a multi-car driver development program. Since the inception of the driver development program, High Point Racing has won the Irwindale (Calif.) Speedway Late Model Division Championship in 2005, 2006 and 2007. HPR has also won three Rookie of the Year titles, and a total of fifty races. In 2008, HPR will participate in the Drive for Diversity program for the first time with development driver Lindsey King. HPR will field a total of five teams in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at Irwindale Speedway.
Roadrunner Motorsports
Roadrunner Motorsports, led by veteran driver/owner Jim Inglebright, brings years of west coast racing experience to the Drive for Diversity program. For many seasons, Roadrunner Motorsports, a California-based team, has competed in the NASCAR Camping World Series West with Inglebright behind the wheel. In 2008, Roadrunner Motorsports will field a second car in the NASCAR Camping World Series West for Drive for Diversity development driver Lloyd Mack.
RTD Motorsports
RTD Motorsports, located in North Highlands, Calif., was founded in 2007 by team owner Rob Dixon. Dixon brings over 20 years of experience to his new team. Dixon, an experienced fabricator, has worked with many of the top teams on the west coast. Most recently, he served as crew chief for Thompson Motorsports driver Brett Thompson in the NASCAR Camping World Series West. TW Motorsports
TW Motorsports, headquartered in Chaffee, N.Y., was founded by former driver Troy Williams in 2004 to assist Team Telmex in the development of drivers from Mexico. TW Motorsports has run competitive teams in the NASCAR Camping World Series East for the past four seasons. In late 2007, Williams partnered with Sean Watts & Associates, brining additional resources to the team. In 2008, TW Motorsports will continue its commitment to driver development. TW Motorsports partners with the Drive for Diversity program for the first time in 2008, with driver Jonathan Smith competing in the NASCAR Camping World Series East.
